'Heroes' Hottie Urges Teens to Vote


Turning 18 is a big deal since you get a few extra perks in life. You can get a tattoo, sign up for a credit card, buy Lotto tickets, and, most importantly, you're now eligible to vote! While voting is a right an incredible privilege, some people seem to view it as a hassle. Hayden Panettiere wants to change that notion.

The "Heroes" hottie has joined forces with Declare Yourself, a nonpartisan campaign, to encourage young people to register and vote. Last night the 19-year-old starlet hosted Declare Yourself's Domino Effect bash at the Green Door in Los Angeles, where she was joined by other Hollywood stars such as Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah Girls), Corbin Bleu ("High School Musical"), and Aubrey O'Day (Danity Kane).



"[Voting's] really, really easy and it gives you an amazing sense of an accomplishment," said Panettiere at the event. "There's nothing that makes you feel quite as adult." See what else she had to say on the red carpet:
